State BJP organizes Thank you Modi programme in all 14 districts for 150 electric buses given by central govt.

  • Taking credit for Centre’s work an old habit of Kejriwal-Harsh Malhotra
  • Kejriwal government wasted Rs.8 crore in making it as an achievement of his own government-Sunil Yadav

New Delhi, 26 May.  The 'Thank you Modi' programme was organized by the State BJP today at three major intersections of all 14 districts of Delhi for 150 electric buses provided by the Central Government. In this programme organized under the state leadership of Shri Adesh Gupta, at various places in Delhi, the workers of state BJP Yuva Morcha, Purvanchal Morcha and OBC Morcha, thanked the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and exposed Kejriwal for taking credit for works done by the Centre.

The General Secretary Shri Harsh Malhotra said that 150 electric buses have been provided by the Modi government to Delhiites under the FAME-2 scheme, but the Chief Minister Kejriwal is calling it his own buses. To reduce pollution in the country, the Modi government has given 7000 buses under the FAME-II scheme across the country. A total of 300 buses are planned to be given to Delhi, out of which the first 150 buses were given now. Had Kejriwal been so honest, he would have put the picture of the Prime Minister and the Union transport minister on 150 electric buses rather than said that this gift has been given by the Central Government for the betterment of Delhi. But the chief minister has an old habit of taking credit for the work of the Centre. He said he knows that Kejriwal will not take the name of the central government for bringing these buses to Delhi. The buses are being provided under the FAME-II scheme of the Central Government.

State Vice President and Convener of the programme Shri Sunil Yadav said that Delhi Government had asked for 300 buses, out of which 150 buses have been given to Delhi by the Central Government. But the Kejriwal government has wasted the money of the taxpayers of Rs.8 crore in making it as an achievement of his own government. The Kejriwal government, which runs on the basis of advertisements, has always been wasting the money of Delhi's taxpayers and once again to make his face shine, Kejriwal has done the work of wasting the money rather than spend it on development of Delhi.

At various places in city, the General Secretary Shri  Dinesh Pratap Singh, State Media Co-Head Shri Harihar Raghuvanshi, Yuva Morcha President Shri Vasu Rukhar, Purvanchal Morcha President Shri Kaushal Mishra and OBC Morcha President Shri Santosh Pal and others  were present.
